The ALBA CAROLINA BIKE RACE competition is a project of the BICICLIM ALBA Association in partnership with the Alba Iulia City Hall. The competition is aimed at mountain biking (MTB) enthusiasts.
The event is also registered in the competition calendar of the Romanian Cycling Federation.
The cross country mountain bike competition will take place as part of a marathon event on August 15, 2026, starting in Alba Iulia and covering several villages throughout the region over a total cumulative distance of approximately 100 km.
The competition will take place on 6 routes: 5 km, 13 km, 27 km, 38 km, 70 km and 84 km, with different degrees of difficulty, presented in detail below.
The routes have been designed to cover all categories of participants, to be 100% rideable and to cross paths, roads and viewpoints that highlight the Alba Iulia-Inuri-Mamut area.
