The ALBA CAROLINA BIKE RACE competition, registered in the competition calendar of the Romanian Cycling Federation, is a project of the BICICLIM ALBA Association in partnership with the Alba Iulia City Hall and is aimed at mountain biking (MTB) enthusiasts.
The cross country mountain bike competition will take place as part of a marathon event on August 24, 2024, starting in Alba Iulia and covering several localities in the region over a total cumulative distance of approximately 100 km.
The competition will take place on 5 routes: 5 km, 13 km, 27 km, 38 km and 70 km, with different degrees of difficulty, presented in detail below.
The routes have been designed to cover all categories of participants, to be 100% rideable and to cross paths, roads and viewpoints that highlight the Alba Iulia-Inuri-Mamut area.
